Packaging and Storage

The primer should be stored away from extreme temperatures below 5°C or above 35°C, and protective equipment such as gloves, goggles, and suitable clothing should be worn during handling to ensure safety. Proper surface preparation includes mechanical cleaning methods such as shot blasting and vacuum recovery to remove laitance and loose particles. For existing substrates, all contaminants must be thoroughly cleaned, and any cracks or damage should be repaired before priming. XPERT EP - 100 must be mixed thoroughly in a 2:1 weight ratio of base to hardener before application. Apply the primer at a coverage rate of approximately 5 square meters per kilogram per coat using a brush, roller, or airless spray. Two coats are recommended, with a drying time of around 4 hours between coats. The product is suitable for application at temperatures between 5°C and 35°C. Full curing requires seven days to reach optimal hardness and performance.
