Requirements

The Palm’s developer, NAKHEEL, decided to improve the visitor‘s experience by building a raised boardwalk along the sea facing side of the Crescent protection wall. The 6 m wide and 11 km long boardwalk

Our solution

Being a design and build project for Overseas Company, XPERT Construction Chemicals was approached to to offer effective solutions for the existing concrete wall reprofiling and repairs.
Application took place in three phases:
1. After scraping off unwanted loosely bonded concrete, XPERT SBR Latex bonding agent was applied.
2. Depending on the extent of the damage, the repair products used are XPERT Epoxy Mortar, XPERT Fairing Coat, XPERT Repair Mortar.
3. XPERT Cure AC & AC2, curing compound was applied over the fresh concrete to enhance curing.
The products were supplied and applied to the customer’s satisfaction, both with product quality and effectiveness of XPERT Construction Chemicals’ Customer Service and Technical Support.
